At CMC - NorthEast, our board-certified intensive care physicians will provide you with prompt, high quality medical care. Working collaboratively with your primary care physician, we work to find the best treatment options and make arrangements for appropriate follow up care.

When will the doctor see me?
The physicians of NorthEast Critical Care are based at the hospital full-time and make rounds according to patient needs. Doctors are always available when you need them and can provide prompt care and scheduling of tests and treatments.

Can my family speak to the doctor?
We encourage communication with the family. Your inpatient physician will make rounds and can discuss your plan of care at that time. Also, for the convenience of your family, a specified conference time can be scheduled.

What if I need another specialist during my stay?
Your NorthEast Critical Care physician will refer you to the appropriate specialist if necessary. Again, we will communicate directly with your primary care physician about your care and any necessary follow up care.
